 Interview Tips

An interview will typically take an hour or two, yet these hours may be some of the most important in your working life — a first-rate interview will land you a great job and determine your career and financial status for the years ahead!

 Preparing for the interview

 During the interview

 Interviewers' Favourite Questions
 Questions you can ask
 Closing the interview

Enthusiasm is infectious. Let them know you`re enthusiastic about the position, and why. Clarify what the next step is. When would the next interview be, who will you be hearing from etc?

Ask them what else they need to know about you.

State that you can do the job. Show confidence in your ability to fill the position

Closing. A positive close enables both parties to know where they stand. Remember the interview is effectively your first sales call for that company.

  • What, if any, reservations do you have about offering me this fantastic opportunity?

If you don't ask the question you will not be able to overcome any objections they have and they will therefore still have those reservations after you have left the room.

Clarify what the next step is. And remember to ask important closing questions such as:

  • How will I fit into the team?
  • When will the next interview be?
  • Who will I be hearing from?

If you have any further questions on how to prepare for an interview or what to ask/say, your consultant will be more than ready to help you. .
